I love what I do. It’s an incredible privilege to be a part of something as transformative as helping people cultivate meaningful connections in their sex lives and relationships. How cool is that?!
I firmly believe that with dedication and the right guidance, anyone can experience the fulfilling sex and relationships they crave.
My clients often remark on my warm and approachable demeanor, which puts them at ease. But don’t mistake that for shying away from tough conversations. I understand that growth often necessitates stepping outside our comfort zones, and I’m here to be your unwavering companion on that journey.
Meet Lauren
I love what I do. I get to help people create and cultivate deep and meaningful connections in their relationships. How cool is that?!
I truly believe everyone can have the relationships they desire if they are willing to do the work necessary to have it.
I’ve found that my clients appreciate my warm and inviting approach to therapy, but also that I am not afraid to challenge them when needed. Change is uncomfortable and I’m here to walk with you through it.
Eager to delve into the intricacies of human interaction, I honed my skills with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Social Behavior. Building upon this foundation, I completed a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, equipping myself to empower individuals and families. I further expanded my knowledge by earning a Juris Doctorate. However, after successfully passing the California bar exam, I discovered my passion for directly supporting individuals on their personal journeys. Today, I use my diverse background and therapeutic expertise to help clients achieve lasting positive change.
I leverage my advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a proven method for strengthening relationship bonds, to help couples create lasting, secure connections. I completed the EFT externship, as well as the year-long core skills training program.
I am an American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) certified sex therapist. This certification required 150 hours of coursework, 50 hours of supervision, at least 300 hours of clinical practice, and a 14 hour Sexual Attitudes Reassessment training.
As a sex-positive therapist, I am here to champion your unique expression of love and sexuality, be it kinky, polyamorous, non-monogamous, swinging, or sex worker-affirming.
Ready to unlock your authentic self and build the connections you crave? Send me a message to see if we’re a good fit. If not, I’ll do my best to connect you with resources that align with your specific needs.
